I have a running bamboo growing in a container. I would like to plant it in my landscape, but I am afraid of it getting out of hand. Can anyone recommend a good barrier for containing a running bamboo.

your best bet is probably to do a search online for bamboo barriers. Maybe you can find one with a good guarantee or warranty. I have heard and seen numerous instances of bamboo escaping from barriers of all types. If a single rhizome escapes the barrier, the bamboo is on the loose and can spread in every direction. running bamboo is very difficult to contain, so be very careful.
